Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy, a widely respected visionary in orthopedics, serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of Sunshine Hospitals. In addition to his leadership role, he is also the hospital’s Chief Joint Replacement Surgeon, renowned for his compassionate approach to healthcare. Each year, Dr Reddy performs more than 4,000 joint replacements (including hip, knee, and shoulder replacements), the second-highest number in South Asia. He is supported by a highly skilled team of over 100 doctors and paramedical staff.
With over a decade of experience in the United Kingdom, Dr. Reddy brings extensive international expertise to his practice. He is a popular joint replacement surgeon and a medical expert in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States, where he frequently visits as a consultant for joint replacement surgeries. He has also been an active faculty member at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK, and has participated in numerous national and international conferences. As a founder member of the “Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeons,” he is committed to advancing the field of orthopedics.
