Dr. Sridhar Kasturi, Sr.Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, hails from Karimnager dist of Andhra Pradesh, state third rank holder in medical entrance, pursued MBBS., MD(General medicine) from Kakatiya Medical College (Warangal) A.P., DM. (Cardiology) from Gandhi Medical College (Hyderabad,A.P) is the first cardiologist in Andhra Pradesh to perform Bifurcation stent grafting of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm through percutanous approach and device Atherectomy for peripheral vascular disease He performed nearly eighteen thousand Angiographies and three thousand cardiac interventional procedures, one lakh Echo Cardiographies.

Dr. Sridhar is awarded as best cardiologist for outstanding contribution in the field of cardiology from Council of industrial & trade development through Honorable Governor Surjith Singh Barnala of Andhra Pradesh, He received fellowships from Indian college of cardiology and American college of Cardiology. Dr. Sridhar previously worked as Consultant Cardiologist in Apollo & Yashoda Hospitals and later he established Remedy Heart Institute, worked as CMD & Sr. Interventional Cardiologist. Dr. Sridhar was HOD and Interventional Cardiologist of Dept of Cardiology at Aware Global Hospital (Hyderabad). Dr. Sridhar Kasturi has been performing high risk complex interventional procedures for the past two decades like primary PCI, PCI in MI with cardiogenic shock, PCI during CPR with IABP and ventilatery support in acute MI with cardiac arrest, PCI of LMCA, CTO and Bifurcation lesions, PCI with IVUS and OCT guidance in addition to regular PCI, performs non coronary interventions like PTA of carotids with and without embolic protection devices, PTA of renals and peripheral vessels like iliofemoral, below knee and upper limb vessels, trans femoral stent grafting of aortic aneurysms, valvular interventions, pace maker implantation, performs PCI through both femoral and radial approach with thrombus aspiration for thrombus containing lesions, Atherectomy for diffusely fibrotic long standing peripheral vascular disease pts with non healing ulcers and critical limb ischemia, IVC filters and interventional procedures for peripheral and pulmonary thrombo embolic disorders. Dr. Sridhar Kasturi has conducted many free health camps in various villages, mandals and dist head quarters of Telangana area. He participated and presented many papers in national and international conferences, conducted many CME programs in association with API, IMA and other specialty associations, participated in many health awareness programs by conducting free health checkups and health awareness lectures to many organizations like bar associations, Teachers associations and industrial employee associations.
