Working as an independent Senior Consultant Urologist, Andrologist and Renal Transplant Surgeon at Sunshine Hospital, Secunderabad, a 400 bedded multi specialty corporate hospital started by the international renowned Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon,
Dr. AV Gurava Reddy in 2009. The works entails providing day to day Outpatient services, surgical procedures, both endourological and open surgeries from Monday through Saturday. Round the clock emergency services are also attended to by me.

We also use a flexible Ureteroscope with laser for renal stone management

Work Experience Continued:

Have extensive experience in performing all open Urological Surgeries for stones, Urological malignancies, reconstructive Urological procedures and Endo Urological Procedures like URSL, PCNL, TURP and TURBT.

Renal Transplantation procedures both live related and cadaver transplantations. Was a team member at NIMS in the first cadaver renal transplantation in 2002. Also performed various Paediatric Urological procedures, Female Urological procedures like Sling and TVT ‘O’ procedures.

Field of Special Interest: Endo Urology, RIRS, Uro- Oncology, Male factor infertility, Laser Prostatectomy.

Clinical Research:

Completed various Phase III drug trials on Tolterodine in the management of OAB, Sildenafil Citrate in the management of erectile dysfunction and the efficacy of intra cavernosal Caverject injections in erectile dysfunction.

Attending live operative workshops for RIRS, Laparoscopy, Robotic Urologic surgeries and conferences to keep abreast of the technological advances in the field of Urology.

Other Activities:

Conducted a free “Prostatic cancer screening “camp in NIMS, where about 500 patients were screened with serum PSA levels, DRE and uroflowmetry. Conducted various camps for poor population for the symptoms of OAB and stone diseases
