KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals Hosted a One Day Workshop on Latest Advancements in Shoulder Surgery
We recently hosted a one-day workshop on the latest advancements in shoulder surgery at Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute, KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, Begumpet. It was an opportunity to bring together some of the brightest minds in the field and share the latest techniques and technologies with orthopaedic surgeons from the region.
Dr. Chandra Sekhar, our Chief of Shoulder Surgery, led the workshop and emphasised the growing prevalence of shoulder conditions like frozen shoulder, muscle damage and shoulder arthritis. He explained how these conditions can significantly impact a person’s quality of life and the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest treatment options.
We were honored to also have Dr. Ashish Gupta, a renowned Professor of Shoulder Surgery from Brisbane, Australia, as our Chief Faculty. He conducted live demonstrations of the latest arthroscopic shoulder surgery techniques, providing participants with a hands-on learning experience. His expertise and insights were invaluable.
The workshop was a huge success, with approximately 75 orthopaedic surgeons attending. We had in-depth lectures on shoulder pain management and replacement surgeries and participants had the chance to engage in discussions and share their experiences. Our goal was to equip these surgeons with the knowledge and skills they need to provide the best possible care to their patients.
At KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, we are committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. This workshop was just one example of our dedication to providing our patients with the highest quality of carem and the doctors with the latest skillset. We believe that by investing in education and training, we can continue to improve treatment outcomes and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.
