KIMS-Sunshine Hospitals performed a successful “Ankle Joint Resurfacing with a Special Implant” procedure at the hospital. It is the first successful orthopaedic procedure done in South Asia. The procedure was successfully performed by orthopaedic and trauma surgeon, Dr. Kamalakar, Dr. Subramaniam and led by professor Dr. Leif Rid from Sweden. procedure was conducted on Wednesday at the hospital.
