KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals at the International Conference on Digital Humanities (ICDH 2025)
The International Conference on Digital Humanities (ICDH 2025) was successfully conducted at the prestigious VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET), Hyderabad, marking the Department of English’s first international conference. The event, themed “Towards a Human-Centred Digital Future: Converging Perspectives from Arts, Social Sciences, Technology, and Healthcare,” explored the intersection of technology, healthcare and humanity. The conference brought together speakers from prestigious institutions, including SRH University of Applied Sciences, Monash University, UNESCO, IIT Ropar, Osmania University, and EFL University. With over 200 submissions from countries such as India, Russia, Germany, Oman, and UAE, approximately 100 papers were selected for presentation.
Among the panel discussion experts were Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy, Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, Dr. Shilpi Reddy from KIMS Cuddles, and Dr. Niveditha Sai Chandra, Neurophysician from KIMS-SUNSHINE Hospitals, who shared their expertise in healthcare and digital innovation.
Prominent figures such as Prof. Pramod K. Nayar, UNESCO Chairperson in Vulnerability Studies, and Prof. Venkat Reddy, President of EFT Bharat, highlighted the significance of interdisciplinary research and the evolving role of digital technologies in education and healthcare. The conference underscored the importance of cultural preservation, empathy, and the transformative potential of digital tools in reshaping arts, education, healthcare, and social sciences.
